    My thought exactly, they could have done this in 2010, 11, 12, 13, 14 or 15, and now all of a sudden they do it. Feels like theres gotta be a reason for that, but who knows

    There are 2 reasons imo.
    1) they're planning something big so this is their way to put his name back on the news
    2) he ain't releasing anything soon so that's the only way(other than selling shirts) to keep him relevant

    First perceptions would be more positive than usual for a morden eminem album due to the suprise
    But we all know its not gonna happen, shady records would have to take the safe route in making sure it sells well

    I agree that it will sell no matter what but i meant getting it to the broadest audience possible and the only way to do that would be through marketing

    That's a good a--- point. Only thing is Shady Records is weird as h--- so I wouldn't put it past em to do it for no reason.

    I see what your saying but eminem doesn't need much marketing. Give it 24 hours and any news of a new album will be all over Facebook and every music site on the web.
