G Herbo's debut album "Humble Beast" is coming this year.
G Herbo's SXSW interview was mostly about basketball, specifically his chances in a 1-on-1 game against his childhood friend and current tourmate Lil Bibby. He digressed briefly to reveal some exciting information. He has big plans for 2016, visuals, records, and his long-awaited debut album.
"You can definitely expect an album in 2016," he said. "On the low, within a six month radius... maybe." He revealed that the album is entitled Humble Beast. Which is something of an oxymoron, but true to Herbo's character. He's a pretty down-to-earth dude, but he's so nice on the mic that sometimes he can't help himself.
Herbo, 20, ended 2015 on a high note, with the release of Ballin Like I'm Kobe. Previously he released Welcome to Fazoland andPistol P Project. Stay tuned for more information about the release of Humble Beast.

This might be my favorite thing to drop this year, most of the other earlier releases got lost in the shuffle but I seem to keep coming back to this more and more.
It's probably the most well-rounded Herbo has ever been, aside from I Like everything fits in it's place and the story of this album was like a collection of everything he's rapped about before. After this I'm expecting him to keep pushing himself further as an artist and that's gonna be extremely exciting.Ordinary Joel, Soldier, Jehovah and 2 others like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Similar work ethic, similar message spread, he has well over 300 unreleased songs (know this as I have almost 100 myself)
He's slowly starting to progress out of that street life style and turning to more of a story driven life style which will be an incredible rebrand in my opinion.
He's an insane off the top artist, all of his freestyles are hands down his best work. / I'm very excited for the future of Herbert Wright.DKC, Ordinary Joel, Fire Squad and 2 others like this. -

I think clearly he took it to another level. BLIK shows progression & growth, even if you don't like it has much as PPP or Fazoland (I personally don't) he probably progressed musically and developed better hooks. Fazoland is raw though and to me is a tougher album than BLIK.Sqrt Sqrt, Jehovah, Soldier and 1 other person like this. -

Album is a masterpiece...Gonna be on repeat for the next couple months for sure. Especially Bi Polar, he was sounding like the old Lil Herb on that track. Was hoping to see Ego on this album though, been waiting for that joint to drop for a while now -
