Thread reminds me I need to relisten to Barter 6, I haven't given it a full listen since probably a few months after it came out and I was more of a casual Thug fan at the time, Guarantee is actually the song that made me realize his potential.

May 23, 2016 1. Givenchy I can't think of one example where anyone raps like Thug does on Givenchy. It's rapping worthy of Birdman's intro; rapping worthy of gold toilets and chandeliers and the superpower of never being hungover. The ethereal aura set by the first elongated note is carried fluidly into the restrained hook and then used as a seamless lead in for a verse about love. But it's all a front. What starts out as a moving ballad, an ode to eating her out Now & Later and putting your heart in her pocket, shifts suddenly halfway through: the love turns to lust, the touching transparency into defiance. Thug takes the heart that was on his sleeve and eats it in front of his fiancee.* He'd love to put something in her stomach, something right under her lungs, he knows they're twins -- but he's got too much on his mind. His tempered crooning gives way to violent tantrums, because drugs don't stop -- and you know he can't either. They're all watching him like a f---in' cable box, and he's the President -- blacker than Barrack. He's spent a thousand on a Flock, no Wak. He's been kicked out of college, he only bleeds red, and he's really thuggin like Bones n Harmony. And once he bares his soul, he only has one question left for his girl: would you ride for your n-----?
