May 11, 2016 see i just dont see that..even if its not up to par when it comes to kanye album tracklist rarely has a dull moment outside of waves for me. there are way more "moments" scattered throughout tlop than views. 1. Ultralight Beam - chance 2. Father Stretch My Hands Pt. I - metro/cudi 3. Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2 - verse/panda 4. Famous - bam bam dilla 5. Feedback - hands up hands up 6. Low Lights - soul cleansing gospel 7. High Lights - okay yeah w/e 8. Freestyle 4 - what the f--- right now 9. I Love Kanye - awesome 10. Waves - snooze 11. FML - outro 12. Real Friends - ty dolla $ign 13. Wolves - parts that arent rapping/lead into franks track 14. Frank's Track - ft. Frank Ocean 15. Silver Surfer Intermission - its lit 16. 30 Hours - beat 17. No More Parties In LA - kanye verse 18. FACTS (Charlie Heat Version) - new beat 19. Fade ft. Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone - dope idk s--- is flames if u ask me
May 11, 2016 ops my bad. TLOP and Views are both complete s---. I though we was talking about a good album. sorry
May 11, 2016 For the record I'm not saying Views > TLOP I just don't feel like it's that big of a difference (3x better). Tlop has more interesting moments, agree. But for me it was a let down, while I didn't expect much of drake's album.
May 11, 2016 definitely a let down for me too but that feeling is gonna be replaced by the fact that its a solid album over time
May 11, 2016 boring isnt the correct word here, TLOP is lazy as f--- which is ironic considering how many times it was re-done i love the f--- outta TLOP and its all i listen to the last 2 months...but so many songs are straight up lazy when it comes to kanye's involvement ... songs likt ULB/fml/fade/facts/waves...etc they all lazy, as in...kanye didnt even have to be part of the song at all...fml is lazy cuz it rly rly rly rlllly needed a second verse which kept it from being a classic obviously its better than views
May 11, 2016 i can agree with lazy. im sure kanye would frame it as "of the moment" or "impulsive" etc but so was yeezus and that wasn't lazy at all
May 11, 2016 yeezus felt like a kanye album...like every song felt like its kanye...which cant be said about songs on TLOP...i honestly view ULB as a chance song...i view waves as a chris brown song...etc
May 11, 2016 its cool for what it is. the rollout was amazing to witness in my opinion but yeah i hope his next album is up to par for the standard hes set
May 11, 2016 He released an album that wasn't ready and took almost 2 months to release it again where it pretty much sounded the same. Don't really see how that's amazing lol
May 11, 2016 The roll out did its job tho...the entire purpose of the roll out was to create hype and sell tidal to the people. Every Kanye tweet turned into an event leading up to the album. The msg premiere was great. The final product being lackluster for you doesn't make the roll out any less effective
