    He means how in the 90's, rap was more focused on lyrics then now. No one seems to give af about lyrics unless its a punchy line, they don't care about storytelling/or schemes. That's why Eminem has to make songs with Rihanna and Slaughterhouse never have success.

    Kendrick is wayyy more lyrical then Tech 9, slow down. Tech 9 100% relies on his fast flow to make him stand out. Kendrick is basically the poster child for rap genius now.
