    To respond to the OP...

    Most popular artists deal with lots of hate. Mostly to balance out the overwhelming c--- sucking. Even mild realism about Drake's music tends to piss his fans off. That said, I'm not a fan of people hating him for his personality and psychoanalysis of his music. The same people crucifying him for being emotionally manipulative and what not listen to tons of rappers who are straight up misogynistic.

    Well, you get the difference though, right? Drake's brand of basic-bro misogyny isn't a moral problem, it's a creative one. If you wanna make "Tip Drill," make "Tip Drill." Drake's songs about women fail because they hinge on having some deep conflicted thought processes about relationships, or try to be nuanced dives into why something works/doesn't work, but there's nothing there beyond simpish text messages. They're bad at what they try to be.
