    Vic Mensa has been quietly working on his follow-up to 2013’s INNANETAPE, and tonight, it’s finally arrived.

    The Roc Nation signee shares There’s Alot Going On, a seven-track project featuring his lead single "Danger." Produced entirely by Papi Beatz, his second solo release features a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign on "Liquor Locker," a feel-good anthem with Ty crooning about sipping too much with a girl he likes. If you’re looking for trap vibes, Vic’s got you covered with "New Bae." The project takes a serious note on "16 Shots" that could arguably be the project’s standout, as it is dedicated to Chicago teenager Laquan McDonald, who was shot 16 times by police officer Jason Van Dyke in 2014.

    The Chicago rapper continues to build momentum after linking up with Kanye West last year on "U Mad." Now that’s There’s Alot Going On out, expect to hear more from Vic soon, as he gears up to release his long-awaited Traffic debut. Stream the project here.

    This is not as good as the Joey Purp tape that dropped earlier last week, but it's a good direction for Vic altogether. After all of the weird singles that we have gotten over the years, I was worried that his next project that he would drop would be super trash so i am glad that this ep ended up to be pretty hot. Liquor Locker is such a jam and has gotten upward 30 spins from me already. Excited for the future of Vic
