Jun 14, 2016 I'm becoming more convinced this dude was a textbook closet case, unable to reconcile his faith/culture to his attraction for men. It's been truly disgusting seeing Republicans downplay the fact this was directly targeted at gay people during Pride Week... and somehow it's morphed into a debate about Obama being treacherous (!!!), and banning an entire people from our country. The gun debate is important and worthy, and I commend those soapboxing all over my Facebook feed. But I challenge any conservative here to justify the way the narrative has played out thus far. It's sickening, manipulative and totally bs. tldr: the facts aren't all in yet, but my sense is this was motivated by some creep gay dude who happened to be Muslim.... and less about the dog whistles re: "radical" Islam. Take me on, guys.

His dad is a socially conservative religious zealot. The younger Mateen was an angry American... he wasn't that religious he was just an angry a------... he claimed to be a part of whatever jihadists group that was in the news at the time... even claiming to be apart of groups who were waring with each other at the time... kinda like the suburban kid who tells some people he is a Crip and others he is a Blood. Dude, didn't keep a long beard and his head wrapped while he prayed 5x a day... he was on every gay dating app... and straight dating app while he was married. He would have done the same thing if his dad was a Westborough Baptist.

Jun 17, 2016 Today is the one year anniversary of the Charleston Church Massacre... where Dylan Roof killed 9 black church goers by shooting them to death after praying with them. Yesterday Jo Cox an English MP was assassinated by a White Supremacist while she was meeting with her constituents. Are terrorist of the Muslim variety dangerous, evil, a public hazard? Yes. Should we make laws to systematically discriminate against Muslims? No. Should we be more vigilant against all forces of evil? Yes.

Nazi Germany burned books and we are still allowed to go to a book store and buy Mein Kampf here. That's why we are better. Muslims are vital in America... they represent 1% of the American population and represent 10% of America's doctors. They're dregs in America who are Muslim religious fanatics... sure... but overall Muslims in America represent some of Americas best citizens.

American muslims didn't grew up surrounded by the culture but segregated and with some different values It's all about where you come from and how society molds you, there's nothing complicated behind this lol When the ideals of that book affect the security and lives of millons of people I don't see how that'd be an unmoral action Mein Kampf at least has some historic value, the Quran is literal f---ing bs And that's because like I said in the first quote most of them grew up with different values and their parents had to change their moral stance in order to survive post 9/11 America

The only place where muslims can even come close to living in a segregated area is the small city of Deereborn, Michigan that has a population of 100,000 people with 30,000 of then of Arabic decent because Henry Ford recruited them for labor 90 years ago. Every other community in America Muslims live with non-muslims as their neighbors on either side of them. I'm not going to argue with you that the Quran is bs. So, is L. Ron Hubbard's Dianetics... so, is the Bible. We should never ban any of those books.
