Feb 6, 2015 Da Bush Babees - Ambushed (1994) Onyx fused with Rastafaria and The Beastie Boys. Their hit single below is dope but not necessarily representative of the energy they bring on the mic. There's pretty much an endless supply of dope rap from 90s New York. Mountain Brothers - Self: Volume 1 (1999) Asian American trio out of Pennsylvania. Signed to Baby Grande at one point. Fun as h---, college version of J5. Actually reminds me most of Flight Distance but nobody listens to them. Lots of topical stuff from an intergalactic p----, to a run down of brand names in their lives, to an ode to the tyranny of day jobs.
Feb 6, 2015 Black and White by The Neighbourhood The first rock band to release a mixtape, features a solid roster of amazing rappers, and is also just a plain good rock album. It's so good, even the DJ Drama shoutouts are fun to listen to. That takes some next level amount of talent to pull off
