He was obviously a headcase, but Marbury played well in NY.

Francis on the other hand was awful and missed tons of games.

Rose is better right now either of them were, and isn't an idiot. He's gonna work hard and try to win them games. Guys in the league respect him, and I think he, Melo, and Porzingis can be a respectable team in the playoffs, with room to grow if they get more players. I heard today that KD told NY he'd consider them if they got a PG, well they got one of his good friends and a guy he trains with in the summer. Noah & Pau interested to, so NY could sneak up on ppl next year.

I could write forever about my feelings on him being traded. I'm upset because I still think he's got a lot of potential, but understand why the Bulls had to pull the plug. It's a sad day here, because Derrick was the one. We were just happy to see him doing big things at Simeon & Memphis. We knew he'd be great in the NBA, but nobody imagined the Bulls would win the lottery and he'd become the youngest MVP of all time. His rise was unprecedented, he could have legitimately been on of the greatest players of all time, and he was ours. It sucks to see him go, it really does, but maybe this is best for both sides. they said he was really emotional when he found out. Jimmy posted this a little bit ago. I never knew why ppl assumed they had beef, Rose & Butler looked like a top 5 backcourt with Thibs, so it's too bad we won't get to see them grow together.

For me, coming to Chicago to play and learn from you, an MVP, was eye-opening. You helped shape me into the player I am today. Helped teach me the work ethic needed to excel in this league. You are a leader, thru and thru. Always a supportive teammate and friend. I'll always be thankful for the opportunity I had to play alongside you each night and I know you're going to continue to be the great player and leader you were in Chicago for years to come.
