Kids cutting class is not the same consequence as people being unable to go to the mall or a club or the movies without reasonable fear of being slaughtered by an automatic weapon.

Nobody is worried about going to the mall, stop acting like people in the U.S so desperately want guns to be banned, because they don't and hopefully never will. You'll have a hard time convincing me of restricting freedom. I wouldn't punish millions of muslims for terrorism, which is why I disagree with Trump's travel ban, just like I wouldn't punish millions of gun owners for the acts of mad men. We have seen now much gun control helped people in France and I want absolutely none of that. Civilians should be able to be armed to protect themselves and their families.

Convince me that the right to participate in a basically unregulated gun market is a right worth having or protecting. Can you?

13,000 people were killed by guns last year. That's negligible to you?

There are more guns (by volume by a long shot and per capita on by a cartoonish, incomparable amount) in the States than there are anywhere else. So how come "the good guys" aren't stopping the crimes? This isn't some intangible belief I hold, it's based on hard data.
