Jun 29, 2016 Let me put it more simple: - Terrorist attacks in France - Goverment decides to start a new program to prevent more attacks to come - They don't target all Muslims but members that do X things that are common among radical Islamists and fit their suspicions, therefore it can't be considered racial profiling - The results are mixed (some unfair cases and treatment, which is why I said it was valid), but has no economical consequences and it's not installed permanently - This is not comparable to actual systematic racism in America, where they target black people exclusively for their skin color, whether they are rich or poor
