My instinct is telling me to hate on him but this about where he wants to play basketball for the rest of his career. Organization, players, location, I mean how could he NOT have chosen GS?

I have to imagine OKC starts to shop Westbrook immediately, no chance he sticks around w/o KD.

Not sure why people are saying this is way worse than LeBron. LeBron/Wade/Bosh/Riley had been plotting that for awhile and still visited every potential team knowing they had no intentions to sign there. Then announced it on TV and held a rally to say they'd win 6-7 titles.

People think KD's was worse just cuz KD went to a better team than Bron did, plus Durant just got beat by this team.

Not saying I agree but pretty sure that's the reason people are saying it's worse.

Lol this is the most distorted version of NBA history ever. You don't know the players intent first of all. Plus, fielding other offers while still leaning one way is not unethical. It's f---ing smart. You don't think Durant was leaning towards GS?

And they didn't straight up say they would win 6-7 titles. LeBron made a joke about it. It was obviously a joke. How do you even answer the question, "how many championships will you win?" Of course you have no way of knowing, but you're going to trash LeBron over a joke?

This is classic LeBron hater logic. No matter what anyone else does, LeBron is still worse some how. This IS worse than what LeBron did. Miami was stacked, but beatable. GS now has the two best shooters in the league, plus Durant who's just an all around monster. Don't pretend otherwise.

lol it's not like Bron had to say they'd win 8 titles though just cuz someone brought up winning. Any other player would have just said something like 'well it's gonna be tough to even win 1, we just have to focus, work hard and play together as a team then hopefully we can bring a championship to Miami.'

Brons answer certainly wasn't caused by the question lol.

To me there's arguments both ways to which was worse, depends how you look at it.

How do you figure? OKC was 1 game away from the finals and they had 3 shots. It's not like OKC is a horrid team. He could have signed with OKC and probably still get to the conference finals next season. It's a b---- a--- move. Willing to bet a lot of people are cheering for LBJ to destroy GS. A lot of people were low-key hating Curry and company, but because they kept on winning kept they kept there mouths shut. Next season, expect the hate to grow.

As for parity, the NBA is horrible for it. The NHL on the other hand has parity, never know which team has a chance and it's not all focused on 1-2 players.

Sure but they don't get him if they don't overpay, and then you're stuck with nobody while guys like Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder are making a combined 24 M annually. A continuously rising cap and having those 3 on the cheap allows you to overpay Horford.

Wah wah wah. Cry about it. Celtics would have gotten spanked this year with or without Durant going to the warriors.

I don't know if the warriors should have really went through with this. Their team was already dominant. Now who's going to be your main go to guy on the court and this will probably cause conflicts throughout the year. Arguments of someone not getting the ball enough or someone ball hogging too much.

Idc much about this since not a huge nba fan, I could see huge nba fans get upset when you have s-----y teams to watch and root for like the 76ers an celtics

Thinking about it..... Could the NBA maybe be so predictable because of the 7 game series......?



I mean football obviously one game

Now baseball also has a 7 game series BUT many more variables. For one a different starter every night, line up tweaks for matchup's / who's available / not available in the bullpen etc.



Dont follow hockey so Ill leave that for someone else...



Are the Warriors a beatable team? YES. I dont see them going 98-0 every team is beatable BUT its d--- near impossible to beat them 4 out of 7 tries

Idk about this tbh. I think its a PERFECT fit. Durant naturally defers a bit he never commands it and Curry/Thompson/Green already seem to have things figured out between them.


I think this just creates more open shots for everyone
