    Fun fact: I heard from a source who was in the room that Metro Boomin confronted Travis Scott over "Antidote," saying he should have given Swae Lee publishing on it. Apparently Travis was in a session where SL laid down a bunch of reference vocals; Travis took the files to New York and dropped Antidote a month later.

    My answer to both these posts would be the same: this is all theatre. There's nothing real about the world of rock stardom or w/e. Kanye and Kim are pretty fixated on the white-woman-black-man thing and frequently try to be provocative w/r/t that. I understand thinking that's trite but it's def performative, same with interrupting Taylor Swift. Awards shows aren't real. Remember when it happened how many people thought it was staged? If people think something might be staged, that speaks to how seriously the event should be taken imo

    I said two people had told me they were underwhelmed but I knew nothing about it firsthand...which is true, I said I hadn't heard the song multiple times. All the factual things I've posted have panned out, and that's not because I'm some super cool modern mafia don, it's just literally, simply my job. Don't worry man, if there's ever a thread about teaching sixth graders that evolution is a lie I'm sure you'll have a lot to contribute.

    Dog I can't stand Travis as an artist anymore lol. Like the music bumps but as I've dived deeper into rap I find myself just wanting to listen to the guys he copies. I remember dbr blew my mind when I first heard it but now it's like, The Prayer is a stolen version of Throw Sum Mo, Skyfall is just Travis stealing Spaghetti Factory like he did PUTTP, Basement Freestyle is literally Pixelated Tears by Bones and Lean, etc etc.

    I 100% respect him as an artist and I do think he is a good person at heart. I think he is a poor speaker when going off the top of his head which ends up getting him into trouble.
