    Its pretty obvious he used his "addiction" as a marketing ploy but I think in his mind he actually thought he had a drug problem. I was listenting to Deja Vu and this guy is crying about how he was sooo bad on drugs. A half a glass a wine? 3 valiums? f---ing NyQuil? I've seen people searching their arms for 6 hours trying to find a vein to s---t up in, after doing unthinkable things to get the drugs in the first place. That is an addiction. How can this man say he had a drug problem. Why didn't he s---t up or smoke crack if he was so out of control? Now that would of been something to cry about. The guy didn't even do coke. Was he scared or something?

    Lol at millionaire eminem having to do crazy s--- to get his hands on drugs. I don't think you know how drug addiction works, it's not that you take cocaine and develop a heroine addiction you f---ing idiot.

    Yes I am a former attic. I just don't like talking about it but it just annoys me when some guy is talking about how he can't resist a half a glass of wine when people out there struggle much worse. Don't call me an idiot.

    What is it suppose to be some metaphor when he says he has no choice but to take half a vicodin? That literally does nothing to you. I took 10 a time just to get high before.

    Yeah its pretty obvious this guy makes up s---. I think in his head he believe it was real. I remember him talking about how his mom made up a little sister. Unless he lied about that then he must of got it from her. Total fraud.. I just listened to Going Through Changes also and he said he woke up in the hospital full of tubes over a half of Vicodin.. yeah right. I've seen people literally die for 7 minutes and only spend an hour at the hospital.

    Even if you take the song literally, he's clearly describing a never ending cycle of one prescription drug after another with no limit on numbers, no thought for consequences. He's also describing that process of 'another half won't hurt' - whether that's pills or alcohol. It's obvious he isn't saying that he used to drink half a glass of wine a day, which would be considered a healthy intake.

    The fact he overdosed and nearly lost his career as a result is enough to make him 'an addict' in my book. It's a bit harsh from you to judge it as a 'marketing ploy'. You've dropped a bollock here.

    Edit: I think this guy is having us on. I fell for it.

    Prove to me he overdosed. The guy had phenomena, it was on the news. It was the middle of winter and it was going around. He lied and you believed it.

    'Gallows humor' mate, he's describing the process of GETTING addicted and how he feels he should stop, but half a glass of wine won't hurt, he then in the next few lines states 'but i never had no problem with alcohol'

    He's in denial of his addiction and is desperately trying to find a compromise. It's the theme of that entire verse and it all flew past you. Take some lit classes before you make s--- threads plz

    Yes I get the f---ing theme its pretty simple. The cycle he is talking about is nothing though.. its something he could of just stopped. It had no control over him compared to the monster that some attics fight every day. Maybe you don't get the f---ing thread, r-----.
