So? Lol obviously it wasn't a big story, doesn't change what I said.
Why's one more okay than the other? Both situations are awful.Ordinary Joel, Dread or Alive, asvdawg and 2 others like this.Dec 29, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

JMG has a point though. If we're looking at 2 specific incidents that had the same result, why's it okay for one of them to be completely ignored and barely get a mention on local news, while the other is a national tragedy and top story on cnn for weeks if not months?
I realize the police vs. blacks has a lot more history to it but that still doesn't make police abuse of power (whether due to race or anything else) anymore acceptable.Poohdini, Dread or Alive, JMG and 2 others like this. -

We all know from the liberal media that racist white police officers routinely murder unarmed black men. Apparently they didn’t get the message down in Louisiana. Two cops (one black and one maybe black) opened fire on an unarmed white man, wounding him and killing his 6-year old son.
CBS reports that Marksville, LA officers Norris Greenhouse Jr. and Derrick Stafford were involved with a brief vehicle chase earlier this week. They have not said why they tried to pull over Christopher Few and his 6-year old autistic son Jeremy Mardis, just that they briefly pursued him.
At the conclusion of this chase, Officers Greenhouse and Stafford opened fired on the car, pumping 18 rounds into the vehicle. Christopher Few was hit twice and has bullet fragments in his head and lungs. He is critical condition. His young son was hit 5 times in the head and chest. He died in his car seat.

A third officer, called in for back up, recorded the shooting with his police body camera. That officer has stated that Few was not acting in a threatening manner toward police. Few did not have a warrant for his arrest and there was no weapon found in his vehicle.
Col. Mike Edmonson of the Louisiana State Police has seen the shooting video and was appalled.
“That video was incredible. I mean, as a father, much less head of the state police, I looked at that tape, I said this is incredibly disturbing,” said Edmonson.
The two officers involved in the shooting tried to say that Few used his vehicle to ram their cruiser but the evidence doesn’t support that. Asked if Few should be blamed in any way for the shooting, Edmonson replied:
“It doesn’t seem from what we see because we don’t know why they were trying to chase him,” said Edmonson.
This shooting was so outrageous and unjustified that the police aren’t even trying to protect the officers involved. Greenhouse and Stafford were arrested on Friday and charged with second degree murder for the killing of 6-year old Jeremy and attempted second degree murder for the shooting of his father, Christopher Few. They are both being held without bail.
As if this case doesn’t seem messed up enough already, check this out:
Law enforcement confirmed to CBS News they are probing whether one of the officers arrested has a personal grudge against Few and may have sought revenge with gunfire.
Holy crap! A police officer may have used his position of authority to settle a personal score and ended up murdering a young kid with autism. That would certainly explain why Few ran from the officers and how they can’t exactly say why they tried to pull him over in the first place.
I can’t help but to wonder why there isn’t more national outrage over this shooting. If a white officer had gunned down a 6-year old black kid and wounded his unarmed father in a personal vendetta, Black Lives Matter, the liberal media, and President Obama would literally explode with anger. We’d hear nothing but racism, white supremacy, and the need for justice reform. There’d be a Justice Department investigation and riots in the streets.
I think this shooting proves that the Black Lives Matter movement has gotten their wish. White lives don’t matter in this country anymore because nobody seems to give a s--- that a black police officer gunned down an innocent little white kid in cold blood.

op do you even understand why this situation didn't get blown out of proportion?
both cops responsible got locked up and the main reason for the black lives matter movement is that when black lives are targeted, those responsible for the deaths somehow always get off the hook. don't see the need for any complaining in this situation -

I was never implying that this story didn't happen, just to keep in mind its biases when reading it because it isn't an objective article with shots at liberals/BLM. It would be the same if this article was on a website with a dedicated section called "Trump Exposed." I wouldn't want to get a news story from either source.Ordinary Joel, Red Rum and Chad Warden like this.
