    I live in what many would call the liberal PC capitol of the USA. My main beef with it is that people get so overly concerned with being sensitive about race and such that they end up being racist in their attempts to be racially aware. One of my best friends is half black/half white (so fairly light skinned) and I remember being at a party in college and this dude came up to her and asked her if she was an Aborigine. I'm positive that this was a 100% serious question and he thought he was being culturally aware by doing so. Her response was something like "No, I'm from f---ing Virginia."

    At the same time, I think it's equally cringe to be 100% against political correctness as it is to be 100% politically correct. I think it's OK to joke about pretty much anything as long as it's clever, funny, and/or satirical in some way, but so many jokes err on the side of being homophobic for the sake of being homophobic or racist for the sake of being racist. It's not that they personally offend me, they're just not funny jokes that rely on low-hanging fruit. People blame over PC-ness and people getting offended over everything as an excuse for their s-----y jokes when in actuality their jokes are just s-----y.

    s--- like fat acceptance is where I draw the line. If you want to be fat that's fine, it's your life and I don't give a s---. Obviously a few people do have medical conditions, but the mental gymnastics people do to convince themselves that being morbidly obese is healthy is amazing.

    I wish the whole world could get together and just hug it out. Then we could finally move on and enjoy our short little lives.

    I don't see a solution to how s--- is going. Just more bloodshed and fear. The score will never be settled. How do we evolve and move past it?

    social justice warriors are the worst kind of people

    like obviously its good to be against homophobia, racism, etc. but once you start to dedicate most your time trying to protect everybodys feelings i want to strangle you

    I don't like.

    I believe if you see/hear art (movies/music/TV/sculptures/paintings etc)
    Then it's up to you to form your emotions regarding that piece. It's all open for interpretation, the artist puts something in front of you and you react to it. That's it. But PC fa---- c---- try to ruin that by going "omfg I didn't like that cause triggered." Then they start a petition or movement to silence the artist in some way.

    And the morbidly obese "I'm still beautiful" thing the PC s--- eaters do f---ing disgusts me. Its f---ing filth. They are walking around and could literally drop at any minute due to their very poor health and I see this human body in so much physical distress, how am I meant to feel anything other than disgusted? Believe it or not, as an adult children will look up to you and if you're obese they think "oh they're like that so it's ok if I am too" and I believe It should be acceptable for you to suggest medical help

    None of that matters anyway regardless if they're completely misenterpreting or "following a more violent interpretation" the West only has themselves to blame for ISIS and such groups.

    The U.S has itself to blame for 9/11. The U.K has itself to blame for the London bombings. France has itself to blame for the Paris massacres. Whether the attacks are justified or not is completely besides the point. The point is if you have at least one iota of knowledge in history and politics is these attacks are retaliatory attacks. Do you expect people not to fight back in a war? It's like, war 101.

    Their personal beliefs or default religion because of their geographic location are irrelevant. Sure the masterminds will exploit the culture and religion to brainwash/attract more people to their cause. But saying "they're Muslim it's Islam's fault" is as stupid as it gets.

    Besides when you say hurr muslims wanna k--- us because we're not muslim hurr durr how do you explain Isis and these groups killing Muslims in mosques? Muslim in mosques are by definition and logic, religious Muslims so why is there constant attacks on them?


    It's really not about PC at all I don't give a s--- about not offending people it's just that you're factually wrong

    Dude that's, like, the opposite of PC culture. Your grandpa would look down on women for not wearing a bra, people in 2016 look at it as a form of oppression.

    People gotta realise English translations sometimes are more so English interpretations because no language in the world will be 100% translatable. It's hard for me to explain, but I'll use Chinese as an example, sometimes they will say a single word but it is an entire sentence. Then you gotta take in cultural differences - in America it's regarded highly offensive to call someone c----. In China the mist offensive thing people say translates to "f--- your ancestors to the 18th generation".
    I'd laugh if someone said that to me lmao
