Jul 15, 2016 Really if the Syrian war stopped and Iraq/Libya/Syria was cleared of ISIS, you wouldn't see young Muslims turning to radicalization. It's not like it's in them genetically to be terrorists kek, this contradicts their behaviour throughout history. Even if the wars stopped, the damage may have already been done. Say Islam is a human body, radical Islam is like a rotting arm that desperately needs to be cut off before the infection spreads. It's hard to do that when the conflict on both sides are being funded by governments and shadow organizations.

Jul 15, 2016 I have mixed feelings about the next land-based military intervention in the middle east. It's widely known that the previous attempts at stabilising this region of the world ended dramatically for both sides, but on the other hand, only tightening up cooperation between Intelligence Services in the EU and striking those b------s with drone attacks won't be enough in the long run. I think it would be best if we somehow merged all these tools into one huge 'weapon' and then maybe we'll see some visible effect in the next 10 years. Nonetheless, we have to get used to living the world where the danger is waiting for you in every corner. I'd like also to see people stop dramatising about 'how cruel world we live in'. You all had to be asleep during the history classes because there were equally bad or even worse cruelties in the past. We still live in relatively peaceful times.

But this sounds more like a suicide/vengeance than a terror attack like the guy who crashed the plane a few months back looks like he couldn't cope with his situation and wanted to go down the coward way dude might be both crazy and depressed well at least from what we know so far terror or not we juste lost 84 people and counting

And Nice has been one of the main city in French where youngsters leave for Syria joining the Islamic state (Hundreds so far...)
