Jay Z just raps and is just great at rapping verses. Eminem is a diverse Artist. Jay Z is just an MC. Eminem is a great Song Writer while Jay Z is a great MC

Produces himself and uses non hip-hop production such as Rock and Pop production. Jay Z just raps and has only ever made rap songs where he just raps using rap production

8. Eminem has the most diverse fan base appeals to all demographics. Females, males teenage girls, teenage boys, adults, kids, non hip-hop fans, pop fans. All ethnicity's While Jay Z's music appeals to male hip hop heads

9. Eminem has been way more successful than Jay Z has sold much more records, has won more awards, has a much bigger fan base, has more hits, has made more money strictly just from music, has done bigger and more successful tours, has much more views on youtube. Is much more popular

10. Lock Eminem all in a studio just him alone u get The Eminem Show album. An album he rapped on, sung and performed the hook on almost every song on the album, produced and mixed almost every song on the album. Lock Jay Z alone in the studio u just get Freestyles over other rappers instrumentals. As Jay Z can't sing, can't play an instrument, can't produce, can't mix or master songs. He just raps
