    the idea that race is a motivator for police brutality against minorities (specifically African Americans) has been tested by psychologists many times....whats sad is that this research has been presented to government officials for years but still nothing is being done, because cops hide behind the cop out of "we're just doing our job"

    Raised tens of thousands of dollars for victims families. Set up mediation and mentorship programs in dozens of major cities. Forced both Democratic candidates for President to adopt pieces of their platform; had hours-long meetings with Obama at the White House. Have made police brutality a central issue for the soon-to-be new junior senator from California (and for dozens of other congressional candidates around the country). Have made central to our national debates an issue that basically was only on this level during the last round of LA riots.

    What have you accomplished? Beside your mediocre troll account on a rap forum?

    things i want from @blair:
    1. recognition conservatives unfairly target obama, accuse him of heinous things, and generally attempt to delegitimize his accomplishments
    2. acknowledgement conservative media have conspired to incite violence against groups they dislike
    3. agreement that the death of black americans by police is a real issue, and could (partially) be remedied by passage of a bipartisan criminal justice bill in congress
    4. recognition his party/ideology is currently undermining the passage of said criminal justice bill (and most legislation in congress)
    5. a promise to vote for hillary clinton. or at least an implicit promise to not vote for trump

    You mean the part where you said police deaths weren't at an all time low and then when I posted actual evidence you changed it to non-per capita graphs and when I posted even more proof fitting those guidelines it was "can't argue I'm driving"?

    Considering where I was in 2009, I'm incredibly happy with where I'm at now. Wish I could buy a house though, the markets are terrible. I'd move to get better prices but when you're a young teacher in Ontario you thank God every day that you got off the long placement list. Don't have enough tenure yet.
