I was at a party the other night, was drunk and pissing in the woods and must have touched some poison ivy. Now I have it on my legs, arms, and on my d-ck/testicles. I'm sure my misery will probably give some of you a few laughs but this really sucks. I always take cold showers so that has sorta been helping and I've been in the pool a bunch so I figure the chlorine is helpful as well.

I've been using Benadryl itch cooling spray for my legs but I'm not gonna put that s--- down low. Anyone have any recommendations? Hank and Kevin were helpful but I'm just wondering if there are any other ways.

You can't, unless you come into contact right away it's best to wipe it with an alcohol wipe. The thing is, it's the secretions of the plants that absorb through your skin. If you wipe that off before it seeps in it goes away. If it breaks you you just need to weather the storm until it goes away sadly.

ALWAYS wash sleeping bags as well. Sometimes you may have your bag hit poison ivy and not be exposed then the next trip BOOM you get hit with it when none of it was around....that's because the secretions were in your bag.

Maybe a cold bath to remedy it?

It's starting to go away on my d-ck but my whole knee and calf are swollen up, it's insane. It hurts to bend my leg and my knee feels so raw right now.

@Soldier remember when I said I envied your youth?

Well, I feel like this thread is a personal win for me, in some way.
