Jul 20, 2016 What would it be? I could name like hundred songs that could be in my top 10 if you ask me on different days.. but for years, my absolute favorite is: Jay Z - The Watcher (Ft. Dr. Dre & Rakim). Why? Well, the original Watcher is already a classic, but this version... d---. It has an amazing Jay verse, a great (ghostwritten) Dre verse -I love his voice so much-, and then Rakim comes in and kills his part. Add the fact that the beat is godly and the chorus is beautiful, and you got yourself perfection. (Off topic: thinking about it, BP2 has a lot of average stuff but it contains some of my favorite Jay songs) What would yours be?
Jul 20, 2016 I don't get how you could even choose one song lol The one that comes closest is probably this
Jul 20, 2016 Joe Budden- Whatever it takes (Clinton Sparks version) is just phenomenal from start to finish. It's a really relatable and powerful song if you have ever struggled in life and has amazing replay value.
Jul 20, 2016 Or Quit my first job at 14 with this playing in my headphones as I walked out lol felt like a boss
Jul 20, 2016 N.Y. State of Mind by Nas. My favorite rapper on a beat made by my favorite producer. Also the goat Rakim sampled on the hook.
Jul 20, 2016 Regulate by nate dogg and warren G. They dont miss a beat and seamlessly tell the tale of one gangsta a--- night
Jul 21, 2016 Man this is f---ing tough. Auditorium by Mos Def pops into my head right off the bat if we talk about all-time favourites. Infectious beat by the great Madlib, effortless verse by Mos himself and a sick feature from Slick Rick. That or Mind Playing Tricks on Me by Geto Boys. All-time classic song from them. I really need to dig into their discography to be honest.
