Jul 21, 2016 everything he does these days seems seriously thought out and planned months in advance do you think kendrick is playing it too safe (expecially in 2016)
Jul 21, 2016 like that black friday freestyle was awesome, would like to see a few unplanned releases of tracks like that from kendrick
Jul 21, 2016 I still don't exactly know what you mean I mean if your talking about the music I think he is just playing it smart rather than "safe" its not like he needs to drop a song every month. Also we do still get a Kendrick feature like every few months as well soo..
Jul 21, 2016 There's no such thing as playing it too safe because there's no such thing as an unplanned release. Something that drops out of the sky for the fans was always planned.
Jul 21, 2016 Or he's just working on his next LP? Honestly I hate it when my favorite artists drop every week, I don't want him to oversaturate himself again like he did 3-4 years ago
Jul 21, 2016 yeah he one of the smartest rappers in the game sometimes i feel like kendrick could be more spontaneous, like i get he's working on his new LP but a little gem every few months or so would be cool
Jul 21, 2016 that period of oversaturated kendrick brought the majority of his fanbase though he has no reason to do that anymore because he is the biggest rapper out right now
Jul 21, 2016 He's talking about kendrick not dropping "unplanned music", like there's always an announcement prior to the stuff he drops. You could have the argument that untitled was unplanned but it would be like ignoring all the promotion it got from Lebron
Jul 21, 2016 When nasa is planning to go to the moon. They make an annoucement. When you go to the supermarket u dont need to. Comparing kendrick work that take years to perfect to trash like drake work which he makes by humming while taking a s--- is insulting
Jul 21, 2016 Nah I think that's just smart. You need some Rappers that play it like that, ya know. When everybody would do it like that it wouldn't be cool in any situation.
Jul 21, 2016 I wont give him too much credit. I mean this formula that Kendrick is following is pretty basic and a lot of other rappers are following it as well. Just seems like TDE likes to keep the noise down, you will probably never hear too much about them unless its dangerookipawaa arguing to people on twitter about album sales
