Aug 30, 2016 I miss '08 Orton. Kinda. '07 Orton more. But '08 was just him at his most complete. Tbh, his "serpent"-like characteristics that distinguished him as the titular and WWE's Resident "Apex Predator" seemed super natural and it deserved to be surrounded by storylines that were just as good. Too bad him as Heel and CM Punk as Face in that year were the only true outstanding things that were happening back then. Until Jericho first turned heel after his 2007 return and had that second Michaels rivalry that's rarely talked about for some strange reason.
