Stopped listening after 5 minutes as he only just managed to breakdown what Drake said in 3 seconds.

Funk Flex voice is annoying...lol @ his Canibus response "70% of your fans wear high heels" which is true but makes him successful

So all flex did was tell a story about Drake from 7 years ago of him freestyling with his blackberry? That's it? Smh... Per usual, flex can hold this L.

Read somewhere that also Flex said he got those those reference tracks came directly from Drakes camp so Meek's camp wouldn't f--- them up or some s--- like that.

But yeah, Flex once again failed to say or do anything worth talking about.

Pretty sure it's already been confirmed that the reference tracks came from Drama. I think he even admitted it himself. I know Drama's ex-wife put him on blast for it on Twitter last year.

the general hip-hop will...they listen to what's on the radio...why don't people talk s--- about rappers who aren't successful as a Drake or Kanye West? Drake appeals to women, men of all races, social class and nationalities...makes him very successful in the entertainment industry

I enjoy hip-hop music from Schoolboy Q, Troy Ave, Obie Trice, Jadakiss, Lloyd Banks etc... but people don't care enough about these middle of the pack artists...to give them attention

if you are at the top of any industry people will talk s---, want to start s--- with you etc...

Hot97 creating rumors to attack Drake in NY = lets talk s--- to the biggest artist in hip-hop atm who snubs radio personalities/radio stations

same goes for Budden trying to get a rise out of Drake lol

i thought the point of enjoying "art" was the artist merit, and you know "talent"

Nobody who matters will successfully challenge Drake just like nobody who mattered could successfully challenge Eminem in the early 00s

you are right, art is objective and everyone has different tastes....I think someone like Drake though transitions over to pop culture, and typically in this society we connect success with how much money you have, how much fame you have, how much attention you have etc...

I am sure plenty of enjoy Drake for his art and talent...but there are a hand full who dislike him personally, his music etc... but will still talk about him negatively because he's on top

He does have talent obviously whether you like him or not

Honestly, I think the reason people dislike him has to do with the industry secrets surrounding his induction into rap music. Beyond just being canadian and degrassi there has been lure about his music connection with his uncle on is mother side, teams of writers, and kinda being an implant. Not here to bore you with specifics, but there are a lot of subtle things that have been said on and off record. Let's put it this way, there was a reason Kanye took kendrick on tour with him and they never actually got to "hang out" and then Kanye went back to playing buddy buddy with Drake. I doubt you listen to kendrick lamar like that but king kunta and hood politics talks about this. But hey, im just here so i don't get fined.

Interesting, ill take a deeper listen into those Kendrick Lamar tracks...I didn't know that Kanye did that LOL

I agree with you on Drakes industry secrets, people do clown on him for being on Degrassi, Canadian, and apparently coming from a high-income family? Hip-Hop derives from the ghetto, and most hiphop artists come from humble beginnings opposite of what people say about Drake in Toronto...half Jewish stereotype lol I am sure plenty of people are jealous of that too...

the authencity of hip-hop is a entirely other conversation lol

do people actually care that Drake has writers? Kanye has writers? Most people do not care and do not even know...real hip-hop heads will find that TERRIBLE and I agree...Kendrick Lamar as far as I know writes his own rhymes which gets pts for having that skill

    Funk needs to retire.

Hip-hop is no longer from the "ghetto". And it's no longer a "black" genre. Hip-hop as a general term has gone international and all forms of backgrounds have taken on this genre. The so called "hip-hop" heads that only listen to that sub-genre are boring as f---. Lol.
