Aug 5, 2016 Idc if they put it in a top ten or not they've all talked about it. If you're denying the influence Wayne had on them and rap as a whole then no wonder you can't enjoy these new cats because you clearly don't have ears.
Aug 5, 2016 You tell me you still like Eminem, cool, I got no problem with that [even though I think he sucks now]. But to say he's better technically now than he's ever been? Wtf is that based on? He's been like, offensively worse than ever post overdose.
Aug 5, 2016 Idc if they like him or not, Blu is one of my favorites, yet he will never crack my top 50 list.
Aug 5, 2016 See, this is an absolutely ridiculous POV to me. If they're not making good music they're a bad musician. Eminem can't flow nowadays, and no matter how many syllables he stuffs in a sentence or how much alliteration he can achieve, he's failing at most aspects of being a rapper.
Aug 5, 2016 I said that all that matters to me is that they're sonically appealing and have interesting things to say. I don't like rappers that are rhyming just for the sake of rhyming but I also don't like rappers that try to hard to be different. Both of these kinds are not appealing to me. Vince staples is for me the perfect example of how "lyrical" rappers should be, not overly complex and you know what he's saying and he's still sonically appealing. LIL uzi is the perfect example of how melodic you should be. He is sonically appealing and catchy and you know what he's saying. If you can combine the sonics and lyrics perfectly you are a great rapper to me.
Aug 5, 2016 Nas has wayne in his top 6 man And kendrick also once tweeted that wayne is the best rapper alive and dedicated an entire mixtape to him
Aug 5, 2016 This is why I f--- with Big Sean so much, he's a perfect balance between lyricism and the other good stuff. Dark Sky paradise was is a timeless album.
Aug 5, 2016 "lyrical" people dont get hate here, its just we have to acknowledge the fact we have big community that still stuck in the past that like very s-----y rappers and wont accept that they are s---..its not like we didnt give royce a chance, he is just a bad version of soundcloud rappers
Aug 5, 2016 I mean to be fair, I think most of the ppl saying things like this are just stans who either never grew out of Em and always think his great comeback is around the corner, or pre-20s kids who were probably still in diapers when MMLP dropped.
Aug 5, 2016 Koolo told us in the Plus Sxn that if we want to keep our plus status, each member has to post at least 10 times in the most active thread of the day by 3pm, I'm just here so I won't get fined.
