Aug 5, 2016 Eminem may not be as good as he used to be, at least technically, but you should hold your favorite rapper to the same standard. Eminem is still better than your favorite mcee
Aug 5, 2016 I mean i was just wondering because it's quite obvious that nobody is hating on rappers because they are "lyrical" and "conscious" and it's cool to hate on them. People have different views on things and to say some of these rappers are getting hate here just because it's "cool" is just pretty ignorant cause at least some people do back up their opinions here.
Aug 5, 2016 Recovery is decent. Relapse is awful (em has admitted that himself). MMLP2 is solid but nothing more.
Aug 5, 2016 and people on here get caught in trends and can't the over the fact that their new favorite artists aren't anything special
Aug 5, 2016 since it's 2016, and a decade now excludes all his early albums, i'm curious which one you're referring to EDIT: nvm, i'm late
Aug 5, 2016 40 million in album and single sales = decent horrorcore cult classic = awful even tho em only disses it sarcastically sequel to the f---ing mathers lp = just 'solid' only on sl
Aug 5, 2016 Imagine using album sales to determine music quality. Are you 12 years old? What does it being a sequel have anything to do with its quality? MMLP2 doesn't even compare to the original. Not even remotely close.
Aug 5, 2016 I don't care about tech n9ne and all these other fast rapping weirdos but Royce's PRhyme is undeniable. I don't even care about his other projects but that particular album deserves every bit of praise, AOTY contender.
Aug 5, 2016 It's funny how people here focus on somebody being a better rapper than other "technically". It's nice to see rappers be able to have insane rhyme schemes yada yada but when it becomes the most important thing for the rapper it really backfires on the other JUST AS important aspects
