Sep 23, 2016 I have the same problem with this album that i had with waters and waves; I liked it the first listen, but after that I largely lost interest and struggle to make it past first couple of songs when i listen to it now
Sep 23, 2016 thats funny because i have the same problem with every ab-soul album i had with all ab-souls albums. I turned them off 30 seconds into the album on first listen, but after that i largely lost interest and struggle to make it past the first 3 seconds when i listen now.
Sep 23, 2016 These sort of albums where these artists try going for concepts and themes are hard to pull off. Mick has shown to me he is a capable rapper but his content does get redundant and contextually there's isn't much going for this album, it's by no means a bad album but perhaps it's just not for me.
Sep 26, 2016 I am REALLY enjoying this record. Admittedly, Mick's weakness is his somewhat repetitive subject matter and sound, but his sound is insanely refined on this record and he is so lyrically dense it is astounding. He really has something to say in his songs and I can appreciate his effort
