Aug 17, 2016 Eminem doesn't give a f--- about anyone on his label. Remember when Yelawolf went on that sports show (I think on ESPN) and had that emotional break-down about how he was an alcoholic and had no one to help him?
Aug 17, 2016 Listen, based upon everything i've read in this thread, virtually every single person in here has "got it twisted" Budden likes Drake; Budden is a Drake fan. Drake is also a Budden fan. They are cool, period--this isn't an old fashioned "beef" Last October, Joe Budden released a song "SlaughterMouse" asking Eminem what Joe should do career wise. Eminem responded with "get your life together--RAP!!! That's what you are is a rapper/MC!! I (Em) myself am an 'MC's MC', so just settle the fRLUCk down and RAP!!!" Eminem told Budden this sometime between November '15 and April '16 (source: Budden) April, Budden went OFF on his podcast about how Drake "sounded uninspired" on 'Views', bc he wasnt keeping it 100 with introspectively rapping about where he's at. Basically Budden felt--content wise only--Drake mailed it in on Views, specifically contrasted with what Views COULD have been. Drake heard said podcast. End of April, Drake and French Montana recorded "No Shopping ('NS')." NS wasnt released until a couple weeks ago due to Drake's label/contractual issues. HOWEVER, Drake both snapp'ed and IG'ed only the "pump pump it up" jab at Budden back in late April. Early May, Budden heard this and recorded 9 Drake "disses"--only 4 of which were released--however they're not really disses. Budden literally is saying things like "HUGE FAN YOU'RE THE MAN I LOVE YOUR MUSIC" all throughout all of them (e.g. 'JustBecause'Intro&OutroAdLibs) Anyway, Budden did not take an L with this. If anything, Budden took a huge W wit this. Whatever role (if any--prolly not any but still, "IF any") Budden played in this picture being taken, is a W... (source: #TheMission) ...Budden has been openly publicly communicating ever since April that he's by no means dissing Drake, he's just trying to inspire Drake. All this given, Budden has felt recently rejuvenated career-wise and has currently reinvented himself as #RageAndTheMachine (September solo album producecd by araabmuzik a la RoyceDa5'9w/DJpremier'PRhyme'). First video ("By Law/SomethingLikeAPhenomenon") was just filmed today #InOtherUselessNews Anyway, Budden didn't take an L on this, he took the W cot dammit bc HE ONLY "WENT AT" DRAKE TO TELL HIM TO BAR THE FLRLRLLRUCK UP (wit that introspective type piff o.g. Em always be talmbout cheah!!!!) chehahcdehahcheahcheahcheahcehacheahchheahCHEAH
Aug 17, 2016 What up Enigma! Yeah, I do remember that! You must have heard that exact interview differently from me. What I heard, was that Eminem was a sounding board / shoulder-to-lean-on all throughout that process, but Yelawolf couldn't make the personal commitment himself. While I'm on this topic, thinking out loud, as non-vintage as post-02Em has been, personally I've most related to his "take-charge-of-my-own-life" attitude since then, which was a stark contrast from his preceding "Blame Debbie" crap #ItsMyTwoCents @kingsthings cheah!!!! cheahcheahhcehahcheahcheah
Aug 17, 2016 Interviewer: "Eminem had a conversation with you about controlling your drinking. How did that go?" Yelawolf: "Pfft... nobody controls my drinking except me." sounds like Yela was the one not accepting the help
Aug 17, 2016 Also Joe credits Em with helping him get sober back in 2013. Em cares about Joe enough to help him get off drugs just not eneough to get involved in his petty beefs. Probably the same thing goes for the rest of the label too beside maybe Royce.
Aug 17, 2016 Idk, maybe not you but in Philly we called our old stadium "The Vet" for Veterans Stadium, "The Linc" for Lincoln Financial Field, and "The Bank" for Citizens Bank Park. I'm guessing that's what people in Detriot do for their arena, so there probably wasn't any ill will towards Budden and it doesn't really matter what the outside world makes of it as long as the people on the inside know there wasn't anything by it. Joes no new comer to getting flamed on Twitter anyway lol Also, Em got on the Lean Back remix back in the day when 50 and Fat Joe were beefing
Aug 17, 2016 Well yeah, Gillette is called The Razor. But, still, Eminem should know better. First off, he's been apart of hip hop beefs before. He's not a dummy. It looks incredibly bad. I've already had multiple friends of mine, who are Drake fans, send me the picture and be like "lol look at the caption" It's really not rocket science as to why this seems disrespectful to Budden. Which hey, fine... Budden is a scumbag. But, it's still weird for Eminem to, not only do a set with Drake, but to use that caption.
Aug 17, 2016 until there's proof that Budden is actually upset with this, I just think this is a whole lot about nothing. Budden vs Drake is the most petty hip hop beef of all time and is also a whole lot over nothing. If the beef was over anything other than Joe criticizing Views on a podcast then maybe Joe would have a legitimate reason to be mad at Em over this. However, it's not.
Aug 17, 2016 inb4 slaughtterhouse get dropped inb4 eminem legacy is destroyed inb4 yelawolf kills himself lmao
Aug 17, 2016 Did you fart or something???? It doesn't "look incredibly bad." Everyone is just reaching (especially you in particular). Inasmuch, your trolling/lack-of-wherewithall is trending, which generates buzz/publicity, which is ultimately good for Shady brand, so by no means does this "look incredibly bad," [jimCareyinDumb&Dumber] "YA BIG GOOF!!!!!" [/] {readAs: "you TROLL you (and/or peon)" {/} Within past month&ahalf, Budden incessantly told Drake to be more MC and less dance/r&b diva on FOUR SEPARATE SONGS; Budden begged Drake to respond. Drake continually won't respond (save personally texting/DM'ing Joe himself--Drake refuses to respond rapping/on-record) --Drake has nothing to gain, nbd, it is what it is.. tn Drake came to Joe Louis Arena (sidebar: this historic arena in which Gordie Howe and Steve Yzerman played is being torn tf down within nine months)... Eminem showed up to "THE JOE" (Detroiters call 'Joe Louis Arena' "THE JOE"), Eminem showed up there and [farleyVoice] "Next thing ya know there's money missing off your dresser and you're daughter's knocked up am I right!!?!?!?!?" [/] chehahcheahcheahchehahchehcheah!!!chehahcheahcheahchheah TLDR: Budden has been trying to hook Drake up w/Eminem since last year; HUGE WIN TN 4 JOEY CHEAH!!! #ALIENS #HatersGetTossed
Aug 17, 2016 You silly kids with your beefs. It's embarrassing. And Eminem with his hoodie and a cap. I miss his Relapse era appearance, just normal jeans and t-shirt and that's it. But at least we know he's alive. Nobody saw him for a year.
Aug 17, 2016 Christ... You must be on the same s--- Joe is on. You can't even make a normal post anymore, you weirdo. It's hard to ever take your opinion seriously, hence why I think it's amusing that you of all people would call anyone a troll. Anyways, most people I know are clowning Joe for this, and when I read comments on social media, they're clowning Joe for this too. Regardless of your weird justifications for this, this is an L for Budden and a W for Drake. 90% of people will read "Views From The Joe" as an insult to Budden. Hence why Eminem should've been SMARTER about his wording and SMARTER about doing this set. But then again, Em probably doesn't give two s----s about Joe. Joe doesn't make him any money anyways.
