Aug 27, 2016 The song coulda finished before this part and it woulda been 10/10. Not needed imo, but doesn't ruin it at all.
Aug 28, 2016 Great song tbh. Captures the MMLP spirit perfectly. Its a shame this Eminem wasn't on more tracks off MMLP2.
Aug 28, 2016 Then we wouldn't get the "I'm so sick of being the truth, I wish somebody finally admit me...to a mental hospital with Britney" line
Sep 5, 2016 One of a few songs I really like on that album. Even though I don't like that album as a whole.
Sep 5, 2016 I think when we did the elimination game for MMLP2 this was 1 or 2 which is accurate imo. Vintage Slim Shady song and a great album closer. Definitely one of my favorites post hiatus. I'd put it my top 5-10 for the second half of his career.
Sep 6, 2016 And that includes Rap God and Deja Vu whor- Add to that Medicine Man and Airpalnes II So then, guess whats The 5th spot for.
Sep 6, 2016 It's an OK song, but there's only a few highlights to it. First verse was really solid IMO. I liked the beginning, even though Mase references are REALLY f---ing old now. "All out of Backstreet boys to call out and attack" was a good line. "You're forgetting Sarah, Marshall! (Palin)" is such a bad line....and it makes it worse that he adds the adlib. This almost ruins the entire verse to me. The movie was in 2008, and so was Sarah Palin's popularity peak. It's just an awful, outdated wordplay. I kinda liked the reversed words part. This part was really good though: "Adult with a childish-like arrogance Wild ever since the day I came out I was like, merits f--- that - I'd rather be loud and I like swearing From the first album even the gals were like "tight lyrics Dreamy eyes",but my f---ing mouth was nightmare-ish And from the start of it you felt like you were part of this and Opposition felt the opposite, sometimes I listen And revisit them old albums often as I can and skim through all them b------s To make sure I keep up with my competition" Literally the only highlight of the second verse was the "Top 4" part. The beginning, all the way until the Top 4 part is just filler, syllable garbage. It's boring af. I mean, he mentions Lorena Bobbit. After the Top 4 part, it's the same bs. "Truth- admit me- mental hospital with Brittany" wouldve been a really good line in like 07, and I'm not trying to diss him in saying that. It would've been great because it would've been relevant to the time period. Literally, after that Brittany line, the flow sucks, has awful attempts at wordplay, and it's just garbage. I like the chorus though and I like "Welcome back to the land of the living, you've slept for quite some time"
Sep 6, 2016 Not top 3 on the album (Groundhog Day, Monster and Rap god were better) but really nice song.
Sep 7, 2016 Definitely Ems best album closing song since MDGC. One of my favorite songs on the album, as stated already the top 4 line was vintage Em.
Sep 8, 2016 He produced this too, didn't he? I forget... He really needs to go back to producing his own s---...MMLP2 had some really forgettable a--- beats.
Sep 8, 2016 This was a great song but he literally had struggle bars for most of the last verse which disappoints me because if it was as good as the first verse this song would be top tier
Sep 8, 2016 Really good song despite some awful lines. Sigh. Modern Em can't deliver a killer track without something to cringe at. Not even a verse.
