i think i have it figured out, guys:

Ed Harris's character (Mi = William.
William's & Logan's timeline = ~30 years in the past
Delores's timeline = an incredible mix of what took place in the past, and what's the present

Spoiler: seriously...i think this is true

Delores kills Arnold. It's covered up by Anthony Hopkins's character for likely multiple reasons, but it's staged as a suicide, to not cause the entire park to collapse. There's also likely much more to that story -- I think Arnold wanted to die, because he wanted to destroy the park, and was trapped by AH in some way and couldn't find a way to do it without dying at the hands of a robot (we know that Delores is the oldest host, so she would have 100% been around)...we'll likely learn later on that there's an inherent flaw to the robots and Arnold saw it, and AH refused to buy into it or refused to crush the dream due to their skynet possibilities...AH wouldn't let Arnold destroy the dream.

At some point, William trades in his white/light hat for his dark one...that marks his transformation from good guy to seeker-of-something-greater (seeker of the truth, to put an end to the inevitable robot takeover that Arnold knew was coming??) in the park that we see today.

...and what i mean by Delores's timeline is, "an incredible mix of what took place in the past, and what's in the present":
we're led to not know what "actually" (in her normal loop) takes place when she runs up to her house at night and finds her mother and father dead...the first time we see this, the loop is ambushed/interrupted by the MiB (Ed Harris). The second time we see this, the scene strangely/abruptly cuts. The third time we see this, is when she shoots the guy in the barn. But THIS is what ALWAYS happens -- this is her loop. And that's why she has a flashback of being shot in the stomach AFTER shooting the guy in the barn -- this always takes place. Normally/initially, she dies right then and there, and wakes up the next day. On this particular instance (and many others following this instance) she's recalling the past, knows that's where she dies, and avoids it and then takes off on the adventure we're seeing unfold now...she's had these flashbacks for a LONG time now and has maintained this inner-struggle of "remembering" for a while as well..
...now, this is where it gets interesting. I noticed something last night, on the train scene when she gets onboard with William and Lawrence -- the very last shot of her, she's on the train on her own. This tells us that this scene, as well as many others throughout Sunday's show have been a mix of her past experiences in this same loop, as well as her experiences within the storyline of William's that we're also seeing unfold...when we see her in the same frame as William, then it's the past...when we don't see her with them, it's the present (or another loop from recent past). Delores has shot the man in the barn many times now, has gone rogue and escaped many times now, and at one point, far in the past, she performed the act in the spoiler above.

i think this is the opposite, actually -- Arnold didn't want to achieve consciousness, and Anthony Hopkins did.
