Sep 14, 2016 Okay, I think it's fair to establish that OP has a long time off from now before he or she starts to form an opinion on who the best rappers alive is right now. I'm sorry to the OP but everyone on the last is trash. Been the best has nothing to do with been "flavour of the week" and been A-sexual doesn't qualify as skill. As noticed, you picked 12 in no particular order so let me pit my dirty dozen to you and see if the match up against your list. IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER : Kendrick Lamar ( the King) Ab-Soul ( could never be out smarted) Bizzy Bone( the fastest Rapper alive) B-real ( the soul assassin) The Game ( Compton!) Eminem ( The Rap Bully) Danny Brown ( the Hybrid) Method Man( from the Wu) Tech nine ( monster MC) Jon Connor ( next album u will know) Nas ( the legend) Busta Rhymes ( that flow) Doesn't matter who you bring bcos this 12 would basically destroy any other 12.
Sep 14, 2016 I realise I have 13 did try to edit but oh well. It isn't bias. Just prefer to judge by skill than popularity. I think if you are a rapper then that should be your subject. Study the game, educate others etc. A good rapper will be remembered for his skill and flow and not for what dress he wears on his album cover. I know times are changing and the game ain't the same but I don't think "rap" culture did this. We are not responsible for the next generation because we had different plans but society has turned the average 16 yr old against real rap in favour of rappers who don't know how to rap or care for the culture.
Sep 14, 2016 Kendrick, Chance, Gambino (He's coming with another one ), Kanye, Schoolboy, Future, Thugger, Kevin Gates ofc, idk who else
Sep 14, 2016 I don't know what the deal is with these new kats in the game. I get cold "Dusty" and old Skool but at least with my choice I know what I'm getting. These new rappers don't seem to know much about rapping or flowing. I hope I don't see the day rap is completely destroyed by feminists and gay activists and milti-billion Dollar companies. The only agendas rappers should be touching on right now is Poverty and deception. But instead it's all about self love and what sexuality you are. Hiphop is so powerful. I wish people would realise this.
Sep 14, 2016 from a pure objective standpoint, this is a very good list. I hate half of these rappers though
Sep 14, 2016 Bit harsh but okay, care to explain why?? All the rappers on my list have reached highest most of these "here today, gone tomorrow" rappers these days don't have no appeal to me personally. I prefer talent and something I can relate to.
