    I agree but mostly because of the quality. His lyrics/flow aren't really bad imo. Just not something I will remember

    i still think that since the drugs he is still like half-brain-r-----ed or something, he can't rap like he used to his voice sounds like it's forced or something on nearly every song since Relapse. As I said in the other Eminem thread as well, his entire tone/delivery/accent or whatever when he not just raps, but says words is weird - the drugs took a toll.

    People need to stop believing in the fairy tale that eminem will ''''return''''. That dude is long gone and what is left is marshall showing glimpses of brilliance on every album with the ocassional good to great songs, surrounded by mediocrity and bad songs. His rhyming remains great but the delivery/voice/flow is weird mostly.

    I think that when a verse like this drops its 2 sides: the ones calling it s--- and the one praising it, when its average. There are a lot of different opinions when it comes to him.. with a lot of people loving Recovery (not just stans) and others praising other stuff he did lately. But it always has to be called s--- or amazing when it comes to him, never in between lol

    Truth. I've been "in between" about ems music since mmlp2. But Jesus chirst the stans and em haters on this forum are f---ing ridiculous

    When Eminem fixes a problem, a new one arises. When the corny lines disappear and the words seem to have substance, or even when he's doing a great job in technical lyricism, he sacrifices his flow. When he's not screaming, his vocals are unlayered and sound like complete s--- like an intern mixed them. I'm sure he can fix the flow he uses and sound way more smooth on tracks, but he seems to be the kind of guy to get caught on a concept and run it into the ground.

    I try not to take the features too seriously though, Eminem features really haven't been overly important parts of his body of work in years. Now when he does them it almost seems like he's doing it as a favor or something.

    Marsh is sort of like the Pep Guardiola of rap. He's created such high standards for himself that it's almost impossible to live up to them.

    This was a really good verse and a good song as far as I judge it, but Marshall really will only get credit on a forum like this if he releases some sort of mythical TES MMLP hybrid verse which is, of course, impossible.

    I like his flow here tbh, pretty calm. And no s-----y lines except a few that were kind of unneeded just like the chemical warfare line in Headlights

    How can you explain Relapse? The Warning? Forever? Recovery? He was sober and flowed great on those. It's just him trying to create new flows and be overly technical with them. Saying drugs are what f----- it up is just an excuse. He just doesn't like doing the same thing over and over. He wants to evolve.

    That's some scientific source right there. You still didn't explain why he was able to have a normal voice on Relapse and Recovery. Or is this drug thing retroactive, so 5 years later after using they f--- up your voice?

    His voice is normal on The Hills, Medicine Man, he's able to do nasal Slim Shady voice. The simplest explanation is he's forcing the raspy voice we hear cause he's trying to sound aggressive.

    The simplest explanation doesn't work cause he sounds like a dying horse rather than aggressive. His voice is not normal on the hills/the warning/medicine man all 3 of those songs sound annoying as s---. The warning isn't too bad though. His voice is not normal on relapse or recovery either. Can you Stans f--- off and stop quoting me now?
