Sep 23, 2016 i wouldn't do it, but i'm not big on materialistic stuff---such as the latest cell phone and technology. yes, i have a iphone 5s.....but i don't plan on ever upgrading unless the phone breaks or the battery stops working or something along those lines i think there are much better things to spend 900 bucks on, but everyoone is different
Sep 23, 2016 If you have the funds and want it and are financially solid got not bills or still live with the fam why not I might keep my 6 though until the inevitable S versions come out this aux cord will be hard to part with
Sep 23, 2016 Yea I'll get a bonus that can cover this around Black Friday (hopefully), but idk if I feel like tossing my entire bonus at a phone. Right now the 6S costs the same on Virgin Mobile, so if that drops significantly between now and Black Friday I might pull the rice out and just get a 6S.
Sep 23, 2016 I'm mostly looking to convert because I use an HTC with a 128gb SD card for all my music and s---, but I haven't been able to find a decent PC app that allows me to just plug in the phone to manage all of that on my desktop (going through the regular file explorer -->phone takes days to load all of my music, so I end up popping out the SD card everytime I want to add/remove music, which is faster, but it erases all of my playlists and s---)...so the main reason I'd like an iPhone is just for easier/better music management (which is worth the money for me, imo)
Sep 23, 2016 ^So that's why I could easily go with the 6S instead, but if the 7 is THAT MUCH BETTER then I wouldn't mind dishing out some extra skrilla for it. If I'm going to drop $600 on a phone, I might as well go balls out with an $800 one.
Sep 23, 2016 Android doesn't seem that much worse, but once you start getting anywhere near 100gbs it's like it just gives up. I have to use some shady 3rd-party music app just to reliably handle all of that music on the phone, itself. The default/popular music apps load about half of it and freeze up
Sep 23, 2016 If I went with the 7 I'd get the 256gb. I think the biggest 6S that Virgin offers is 128gb (which would still be alright)
Sep 23, 2016 My opinion there just isn't enough to sell me on that 7 yet accept those gb upgrades with the new iOS update feels like I got a new phone already
Sep 23, 2016 That's the general vibe I'm getting from this thread which is why I'm mostly leaning toward the 6S.
Sep 23, 2016 I've never had an iPhone before this. My 2nd generation iPod touch from like '07 is still kicking though, lmao
