He didn't want to be made into a "pop star" but he's turned himself into a blander more accessible version of himself with these lazy a--- songs average listeners will eat up simply because its "Future" and as usual being behind the curve they think that means something in October 2016
Oct 1, 2016 I blame Drake. The man was hot as the sun from Monster-DS2 but since Drake decided to slither his way on a feature-less great album like DS2 its been down hill.... Now Future is looked at as the bad boy older brother type equivalent of Drake to mainstream audiences and is allowed to drop average lazy s--- just because he's future. Just like drake...........
Oct 1, 2016 I was listening to Beach Bandits when Lil Flash had 3k twitter followers little boy. Anyways, yeah you could probably say that in regards to future because I'm not gonna take someone's trash just to be a real one. Believe me I was well aware of this mans career through the years Deeper Than The Ocean is still my favorite future song but I'm not gonna disregards his short comings just for the sake of being a fan. Like ignoring the fact Honest had a hit like Move That Dope featuring Pusha T & Pharrell, a single and video featuring Kanye, a feat from Wiz a feat from 3K a feat from Drake and had the controversial always in the headlines Karate Chop remix all while being pushed by a major label ANNNNDDDDDDD still only sold 40k first week.... Just like I won't ignore how washed hes been this year between 3 subpar releases and performing a 2 year old 8 project ago song on a national televised award show.... So....
