If every guy knew how to pull out, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

    Obviously.

I mean, there's been numerous links found in DNA over the years that point to it, and studies have concluded that things like exposure to higher estrogen levels in the womb have been found to have a noticeable impact on the chances of a male being gay. Not to mention there's absolutely no reason to think anyone would chose to be gay, as it does not directly benefit our survival as humans since there's no procreation, and it doesn't make our lives easier (quite the opposite in fact, considering society). As a result, a predisposition to it makes sense.

Now, there is speculation that it might serve a couple different purposes, which may explain it's role in our genetics and why it hasn't been eradicated yet via evolution. One is that it is at times mother nature's way of population control. Another is that a lot of closer relatives to male h----------s (like say, a sister) seem to have higher fertility rates than normal, so maybe it's some sort of random chance trade-off in our genetics. Who knows?

Anyways, speaking from personal experience, there was absolutely no moment where it just suddenly happened, or a time when I just decided to be gay, and looking back on my entire life, it should've been more obvious, as I can pin point things throughout my entire life that pointed to it. I can remember very plainly always having a crush on my best friend growing up, and never truly having any feelings for a single one of the many 'girlfriends' I had throughout my childhood, and eventually I realized why. And I certainly didn't chose it at any point in my life, and nothing could've influenced it either (especially considering the fact that society pretty much conditions everyone to be straight). I was absolutely ALWAYS gay.

I understand this may not have been the case for you, but is it certain that nothing can influence a person's sexuality? I don't know enough about homosexuality, so i'm asking.

the only documented environmental influence is in the womb

but even if that wasn't the case, there's still no choice involved.

This response really tripped me out, in a good way. Perspective is crazy sometimes.

This is probably the most intrigued i've been about the origins of homosexuality. At the end of the day i don't care about people's sexual preference because i have really cool friends and family that are gay, but to say it starts from genetics kinda blows my mind. Guess I still have a lot to learn...

Right now in Poland there's a lot of controversy going on in this topic. Current law allows abortion in three cases:
    - when the woman's life or health is endangered by the continuation of pregnancy
    - when the pregnancy is a result of a criminal act
    - when the fetus is seriously malformed

In Poland abortion is a topic that comeback from time to time and now there's a civil project of law that besically would make abortion illegal no matter what is the case and punish doctors that made abortion as well as the woman (actually in their project it says that judge can choose to punish the woman or not, I think). This caused a lot of protests.

I wanted to know what's your opinion on abortion. How does it look like in your country?

if it comes to me I think that the law that we have now is a good compromise but the third point - "when the fetus is seriously malformed" - I think this is somethin' that should be worked on cause for example a big percent of abortions caused by a "serious malformed" are children with a down syndrome

It's murder but it's up to the mother, and sometimes murder is okay like in self defence. Aborting a child that has been birthed via r--- or one that will k--- the mother or be disabled or deformed excessively is okay to be aborted. In my opinion.

Imo really depends on how the girl got pregnant and under what circumstances the child is supposed to live.

I know that's how I look at it, I am a Christian so the answer for me is easy but not everyone is religious so I tihnk this is what's really hard about this topic, like to make a law in this case in catholic country that doesn't forget about this... and morality, freedom

Abortion is not murder because a fetus is not a person. It's a collection of cells inside a woman's body. We k--- cells all the time, you k--- brain cells from just tapping your head.

Abortion is completely fine up to 24 weeks (viability). After 24 weeks, abortion should only be allowed if the health of the mother is at risk.

Those are exactly my thoughts. People who call an abortion a murder don't know what they're talking about. They probably skipped biology classes in high school and now they're talking like enlightened people because of the read memes provided by pro-life organisations.

I think the rules we had till now were good, even the part about fetus being malformed (even though this might be controversional)
all this bs that's going on in Poland rn is f----- up, they basically want women to birth no matter what or want them to die during it because of what... religion?
such things should be up to women, if they want to birth or abort it
not some f---ers who want to take our country 300 years back to the middle ages

no one will take our country to the middle ages, the next thing that will happen they throw this project to trash, leading party will come up with "new" law that will be basically the same as the one we have now with some new regulations (maybe about that "melformed" part lol) and they will gain more electorate, it's just what I think, I'm not an expert if it comes to politics
