    Yeah this is the Kendrick ref track version of All Day without Kendrick's parts and even more unfinished with some beat tweaks. Still cool to have more insight as to how the song progressed.

    I think we (myself included) tend to overthink these things - had All Day made the cut of TLOP, I don't think it would have felt out of place. The bigger issue was how old it was - the song came out nearly a year before TLOP. For that reason, I can sort of see why he left it off - felt like its moment had passed. But All Day and Only One are both definitely album worthy and better than plenty of TLOP songs

    FYI this version of All Day is the exact same as Kanye played at MSG when he was premiering TLOP. the difference is that the MSG demo had the intro thats on the single version (Paul's melody) & this demo has the sample at the end (& the demo played at MSG did not)
