Oct 3, 2016 I highly disagree. It was worse than anything released by tde these last 2 years imo. And I wouldn't even consider gkmc the best tde release, for me that would be either Control System, Tpab or section 80.

Oct 3, 2016 Ab-Soul is a terrible artist. he's polarising as s---. he beleives in the planet nibiru (some anunanki bs, this planet nibiiru is gonna appear next to ours one day and ab soul with his third eye will ascend to this planet) And this is just one minor piece of info on ab soul. But basically he's cooked as s--- and raps about fantasy that he thinks is real. control system and these days as far as albums go, were trash. very inconsistent the whole way through on both. both had a few nice songs though. Isaiah Rashad is the best on the label, along with Kendrick. Jay Rock and Q suffer from "living in Kendricks shadow" and now they believe the key to a classic album is metaphors, deeper rooted meanings and jazz samples+jazz history. Jay Rock needs to go back to gangsta rap, Q needs to get better beats instead of the same old "smokers jam" slow bs. once a month, Charlie will leave the UFC thread to make a joke somewhere on the board. This is that post and this is his joke. i fucken hate him tbh.
Oct 3, 2016 after K.Dots success it should of been all steam ahead for the rest of black hippy. Should of focused on building up AbSoul in particular. The way that label has been handling him is pathetic. If they played their cards right Soul could of been as big as Schoolboy Q. Instead of focusing on building up their core talent they decided to add on new burdens that they didn't need with Rashad who dropped 2 MEH albums and some try hard tumblr chick.
Oct 3, 2016 Whats up with the AbSoul hate I think TPAB is the greatest album to come out of TDE but if someone told me Control System was better, I wouldn't be mad. It's a masterpiece, shame Soulo fell of, I remember hella people used to say he was better then Kendrick back then.
Oct 3, 2016 Unsurprising the Kendrick sxn doesn't like The Sun's Tirade. It's the only post-TPAB TDE release that didn't go in that direction. And it's bar none the best TDE release since Cilvia Demo, probably even GKMC.
Oct 3, 2016 TDE dont care about ab soul because you can't market a guy who believes in Aliens, Government conspiracies, planets appearing next to earth (that third eyes will allow you to travel to.) he's bordering on insanity with his opinions/views/thoughts. Imagine trying to tell someone "look, we want your album to do well, for that to happen we need you to make a song that will get you appeal on the radio ro something" and they reply with "nah man we cool, i got my third eye open, big sales gonna happen fam" because that's literally ab soul.

Oct 3, 2016 If u listen to Joey badass and Ab soul at the same time it will open ur third eye!! Dead at these TPAB enthusiasts calling Isaiah the weakest link in TDE. Dude is easily the best rapper in TDE right now. He just dropped the best project on that label since GKMC, 4r da squaw is the best song to be dropped by a TDE artist since 2014.
