Haven't listened to the song but the pharmaceutical industry is terrible. Obviously they produce life-saving medicine but they also want to make money off people being hooked on meds for life.
Well yeah I'm talking about America specifically. It's obviously more complicated than just the pharm industry being at fault but western medicine is largely reactive (surgeries, pills, etc) rather than preventative
(we should utilize both) and the pharm industry plays into that in huge ways. You're the delusional one of you don't think there are bigger players out there with the interest of keeping people on meds for the rest of their life so they can turn a profit. The healthcare system, pharmacies, etc all play into it. They're out to make money more than saving people, bottom line.
