Nov 5, 2016 I have an open mind when it comes to hip hop and I've listened to quite a bit of young thug to try to see what I'm missing on why he's so popular, but I really don't see whats so appealing about him. Im not trolling or being a hater right now at all so don't try pulling that s--- i just genuinely wanna know what you young thug fans see in him because i don't understand. Someone explain

Nov 5, 2016 it's his weird unusual persona & style draws hella ppl (including meee) in. he's literally in a league of his own. breaks "rules" & traditions of rap by doin weird s---, weird flows, weird sounds, weird deliveries that would typically be perceived as ugly sounding. yet he pulls all of it off like a master & makes dope majestic af god tier music (see: Check, Kanye West, No Way). he's got his own weird lane that he's in & he's got it nailed down. tldr: cuz his styles cool & he's good at his s---

(I used to play dope s--- like Hit Em Up, Where Da Hood At, Lose Yourself) but then, I realized lyrics are trash, literally, no matter how syllables and wordplays you fill it why does it matter? it's ART , should be artistic, beautiful to EAR , young THUG is , Tech N9ne noo
