    In 1922 the New York Times reported that Hitler's anti-semitism was "not genuine" and instead was "merely bait to catch masses of followers". This was genuinely accepted at the time. Ring a bell?

    Nope. I want the electoral college to be proportional and have wanted that for a while now. So instead of a winner-take-all system, if you win 60% of a state's vote, you win 60% of their electoral votes.

    It depends if we went by state or congressional district. Maine does something similar with congressional district.

    Edit: as it stands now, the winner of the election has only lost the popular vote five times in our history. So whoever wins the electoral college typically wins the popular vote but not always. Making it proportional would improve it imo.
