    Now the hyperbole of the winner begins about mandates and a rallying cry for change when in fact there wasn't.

    This nation is still incredibly divided and pretending other wise is foolish.

    everyone telling me "respect americas choice, you should support our decision." but why? in other cases i certainly could, but in a circumstance where i cannot simply find a plus side to the winner of this election, why would i settle? do not settle people. people work really hard for this country and the results of yestderdays vote destroyed a lot of their work and delayed their goals. it's time to work harder if anything, i'm not settling.

    peace out, this making my head hurt and i have an exam today.

    because bemoaning trump before he's even inaugurated does nothing but annoy people
    you can't change the fact that he won the election. wait to see what he does before bitching. he hasn't even set foot in the white house yet.

    i mean, you can continue to moan about it if you want but you'd be just as well off screeching into a pillow or something at this point.

    The point is to not become apathetic to the reality you wish to exist which far too many Americans do when their candidate loses.

    This isn't a mandate and it doesn't neglect the fact half the country isn't on the same page as you.

    I have this problem when any person wins and pretends that there was massive call for change - unless the data supports that, which it doesn't, it's just election fluff rhetoric
