If a flop is considered AOTY then yes blank face was a flop. Get the f--- outta here. The album was excellent. I still listen to it daily. Was it perfect? Not it had some major duds like overtime. Probably the best produced album this year as well. But let's look at some of the excellent tracks

Torch- classic opener
Lord have mercy- verse hook and beat are insane
Groovy Tony/Eddy Kane- contender for song of the year
That part- b-----r with Kanye
Ride out- b-----r of the year. Staples bringing a heater verse. Beat of the year? Possibly. Flow is just too on point
By any means- consensus is this song is savage. 10/10
Whatever you want- s--- is just too smooth.
John Muir- once again that f---ing beat...and Q free styling with flow on point
Big body-ehhh I'll admit
Dope dealer- E40 the legend
Str8 ballin- great song hits those emotional strings
Black thoughts- great verses
Black face- paak and Q what a great combo
Tookie knows II-hardest g.d. beat. Good/funny guest verses. Exceptional album closer.

So your lookin at an album with only about 3/17 skippable tracks. f---ing classic. Come thread

This s--- was so boring minus like 3 songs. I deleted the whole album with the exception of By Any Means. I remember when I downloaded it and I had to keep going back and listening to it because I'd zone out 3 songs in. s--- was the equivalent of elevator music, background music, it's just there.

Granted, it was better than TPAB. Schoolboy Q didn't have to lure George Clinton into the studio with acid tabs to be funky.
