Yea but you're saying that as if educated people are somehow better than kids that stopped going to school out of high school

Not really. It takes intelligence to do any trade, most of which do not require a degree. Unless, you're saying that some forms of intelligence are more important than others, and like I said that's a little pretentious.

I also know some not very intelligent people who have gone on to get a degree just based on the fact that they work extremely hard, and I know intelligent people like @AI 3 who didn't go off to college because they believe there are better opportunities for themselves otherwise.

Not really seeing your argument here. Not going to college doesn't equal a lack of ones intelligence. School isn't for everyone. I've watched some real stupid people I grew up with go on to college. Anyone can get good grades, it is more of a test of obedience than it is intelligence.

My Dad dropped out in 9th grade. That doesn't mean he's stupid. He's one of the smartest people I know. Literally knows how to do or fix anything and everything. He just did not give a s--- about school. Now, he has his own business and has supported a family of 5 by himself.

And to go on with my last post, I'm not knocking on people who go to college, it's great but you have to understand that not everyone is built like you. School isn't for everyone like I said, including myself. I did what I had to do to graduate but had no plans to continue with it into college. It would have been a waste of time for me. I don't have the patience to sit in a classroom and be taught things. I've always learned things myself, hands on. People learn differently.

It's not really surprising that people from abject poverty that usually believe in a by any means necessary attitude when it comes to economics support Trump. They just see wealth and worship it.
