Listening to this rant, it's clear he made those claims about Trump because he connects with the fact that Trump can say whatever he wants and still win. And Kanye feels the same way about himself. So in that way his support for Trump is innocent. He just doesn't realize that he disregarded the implications of getting behind a racist. And he still doesn't. The damage is done at this point though so it doesn't matter.
Nov 20, 2016 Id bet he either has some sort of mental or social disorder that's been unchecked for too long. That combined with a healthy dose of ego = this...but I'd also be willing to wager that it also = how he became the artist he is today. "Name one genius that ain't crazy" is pretty telling.
