    Netflix has announced on Twitter that it will release three new comedy specials from Dave Chappelle. No release dates have yet been revealed. One of the specials is an original set filmed exclusively for Netflix, while the remaining two are from “Chappelle’s personal comedy vault” and were filmed at Austin City Limits and the Hollywood Paladium.

    He hasn't been out. He's been doing stand up regularly the last few years. He just hasn't had any televised specials.

    If it was all standup then it would obviously have to be spaced out by at least a year

    I saw him two years ago at Radio City Music Hall. His stand up was good, not as great as Killing me Softly, but I don't think he'll ever make something that great again

    Hey there worm, I'd like to take this opportunity to commend you on your use of spanish.

    However, when describing a show (or any object/noun), you would use an adjective which in this case is "muy bueno" or very good.
    "Bien" is an adverb which would be better used when describing an action, such as -
    -"How are you doing?"
    -"Muy Bien"
    Which translates to very well. : )

    Hes been touring and doin shows for years so he definitely could have that much material. I saw him dec 2014 and he had like an hour + of some fire. Then i recently saw like a 20 minute phone video on youtube from another show and it was completely different and great chappelle material.
    If anyone can pull it off its dave, but i am curious as to how theyll go about releasing 3 specials

    i would die for stand up...but there is no way for him to do 3 new shows with new material and be good...can he?

    i dont think anyone can .. usually you test material in small shows and if they work you do it for a special..but 3 ?

    I'm fine with either or.

    It's funny, me and my boy were watching the SNL skits last weekend and I said something along the lines of how Netflix should do something with Dave. Looks like my wish came true. Can't wait for this.

    I think that Netflix would be the perfect place for Chappelle to relaunch his show if that were to ever happen. He'd have so much creative freedom there.
