    thank you for your acceptance, I am pleased to find true dons like yourselves...I honestly feel this thread has a Jamaican/Atlanta vibe to it...blunts to the left...double cups to the right...in the middle, real dons discussing real issues and havin a good time doing so. thank you all for this wonderful chance to become to a real don!

    i'm so glad he's gone, i was rattled when he was drake sxn mod because the sxn was in shambles as it was and this n----- just made us look like a bunch of r-----s

    his over the top stanning of views also turned me off the album, because while it does have hits (can anyone really make a case against one dance, controlla, too good, u with me etc?) it's such a bad top down album. the album comes with such compromises, and that's not something that 40 or drake have ever been known for when they lock in.

    views has no identity as an album, and has so many call backs to successful formulas that have worked for him in the past (views as a closer aka drake rapping his a--- off), auto pilot simp anthems (fire and desire), and grand intros (keep the family close). which is all good, but we didn't want this. we wanted to see drake re-invent the wheel.

    6.5/10 album, but drake is still a very capable artist. he shows that on views, and he shows that with his singles like 4PM in Calabasas, fake love etc.

    like i don't know how to fix views, but i guess more than anything it shows that you can't just throw together a bunch of good songs and call it an album.

    pablo is the exception because that s--- was raw creativity so you can forgive the lack of cohesiveness.

    views was the magnus opus, he poured so much time in to that album and fell so short of expectations.

    f--- immy man lol. views is still what it's always been to me. a mediocre album with some hits sprinkled in. i'd be lying if i said i wasn't playing controlla, one dance, and too good all summer. there was some redeeming moments like the 2nd half of U With Me but that DMX line kinda just threw s--- off for me cuz it made absolutely no sense.

    Bro that album has been through so many cycles. I consider the loosies and tracks he gave away in 2014 the OG Views and was probably when he should've dropped it.

    Just imagine the best of the 2014 cuts mixed with the best IYRT cuts, f---.

    he had a classic but couldn't put it together in the 4th quarter.

    hotline bling popping off gotta be the worst thing that happened to him, changed the complexion of the album from a cohesive aesthetic to "let's get some more number ones on this b----".

    yes, drake has some flames up his sleeves when he was young...Nothing Was The Same was his best work in my opinion...Views on the other hand is all over tha place in the worst way you can imagine. Drake...he's nervous...he's trying on ev'rything he can for the fans...the style...the bars...the guests...it feels too commercialized for him...I fear he's goin' to use tis formula for more studio releases...I fear for his integrity as a artist...I fear that Drake has changed drastically and not for the better.
