Ever since they've implemented the early weigh ins they're definitely averaging at least 1 fighter missing weight per event.

Probably because the card hasn't been really hyped up by the media too much, due to Rousey doing a media blackout. Being on a Friday night doesn't help matters either, but obviously they weren't going to run a card on New Years Eve.

If by dismantle you mean land like 25% of his off balance karate chops for 25 minutes while Garbrandt swings at air, you're probably right. Logic doesn't always have its place in MMA though.

Lol. I think Cody is gonna come out super aggressive, Cruz might even finish him. It's been hilarious watching Cody get pissy the past few weeks during promos.

Cruz has finished 1 of his past 13 fights and that was against Mizugaki who just got obliterated by a grappler. He just doesn't plant his feet in the pocket long enough to throw hard punches. I wouldn't bet on that outcome.
Not to say I think highly of Cody Garbage. He's had super favorable match making and hasn't even looked especially good against those hand picked opponents.

Idk I really don't see the issue in Ronda getting a title shot? She single handily built up the women's divisions and dominated everyone along the way until Holly.

I do think it's whack that she's not doing any press/promo.

Feels weird that this is tonight, but I like it. I'd actually prefer if more of them were on a Friday but I know that won't happen.

Gonna take an uber to and from the bar so I can have some drinks, bringing a pack of joints I got at the weed store too. Should be a fun card, probably gonna get there an hour or so early and watch some of the prelims too. Rooting for Lineker and Ronda in their fights.

imo she building context for her career accolades. Like if she lost a fight that's like yeah ok she lost. But if she lost a fight at her "peak" and then gets depression, anxiety, PTSD, Transgenderism, an eating disorder and becomes a feminist because she lost, then well f--- she's pretty much ascended to super-hero status.

It's really hard to say how the main event's gonna go tbh, wouldn't be shocked either way. I would be surprised if it went past 2 rounds though, good chance it won't even go past the 1st.

Ronda does seem to be in great shape.
