    This afternoon, El-P shared a short clip of audio on Instagram with the caption "RTJ3 is just getting started"—presumably, a cut from what would be Run the Jewels 3, following Run the Jewels and Run the Jewels 2 (which was our favorite album of 2014). El-P previously shared asimilarly short clip this past May. Check out the new one below.

    Man, listen...

    Killer Mike & El-P have really perfected their sound on this one. The first album was balls to the wall aggression; the second album seemed to focus more on cohesive of the actual project; this one is a faultless blend of both.

    I would like to hear something more experimental on RTJ3. A more polished version of the predecessor, just like it was with RTJ2, wouldn't be satisfying enough to me. They raised a bar very high, so It won't be an easy task, but I'm sure they are able to surprise the listeners.

    Why isn't this featured? s--- is dope as h---. Two great projects this month. Cole and RTJ3. Dope way to end the year. Cole's is laid back and intimate, RTJ is more aggressive and in your face. Best of both worlds. And on RTJ3 the finesse tracks stand out just as much as the aggressive ones.
