If your reading this, I am in prenegotiations to get a lot of unreleased. I am going to get King Mathers (Original King Mathers, Not Final Version. Possibly Scrapped Version. Doesn't Matter. Music=Music), all those random thug songs, that one song DJ Head talked about, some unreleased Vanilla Ice x Emanim, a few songs from MC Hammer × M&Ms and a few songs from Desiigner x Eminem, and the thing I am most excited about, complete relapse 2! Not to mention some more miscellenous unreleased but im not gonna name everything cause it makes me identifiable (Not sure if my plug wants me to leak). However, I face one big problem. I don't have any $$$ and he is $$$ only (No trade). I already asked around, he is legit, and I know people who have purchased from him btw. But that is why im opening my paypal. If all of you can donate 5-10 dollars each and if some of you can donate 20+ if you want to speed the process, we can do this! Btw its paypal not anarchy. If I was to rip you off (which im not) they will open an investigation and find out I didn't send out the product I promised, and you will all be refunded. So your money is safe. I will update when I have enough for the songs and again when they are out. Please, Please, Please!! Help a brother out, for all of us!
Thank You!!! If all goes well hopely we can be done by the end of the weekend. If we get enough generous people we may even be able to finish by the end of today! By my calculations if only like a hundred or so people out of thousands of the members of this site donates, we could have all the money we need! Posting on reddit too
    Just a prank bro

In this article I will analyze, decipher and emulate the rapping style of Eminem.

    WHO IS EMINEM
Eminem is one of the most controversial and popular rap artist of our time. He is being ridiculed and attacked from more than one cirle of society, while at the same time, he is being able to break the charts and shatter the sales records at will[IMG]

Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, is a white rapper who managed to pierce the hip-hop industry. At the time of his come-up, this feat was close to impossible, because the public associated rap with the black and they couldn’t see how a skinny white kid from Detroit can win votes, but he did it and that’s why he qualifies to be the rapper who’s gonna be closely examined in this article.

    SONG MATERIAL
I chose to analyze Eminem’s flow in the song used as the main soundtrack for his autobiographical movie “8th Mile”- Lose Yourself. The reason I’m going to analyze this song is because it became one of his trademark songs. It contains catchy musical patterns, witty bars, emotion and purpose. It has millions of views on youtube, it contributed greatly to the marketing campaign promoting the movie and I personally find it motivational and inspiring.

    VERSE EXTRACTION
I will pick the first verse, write it down in a quatrain fashion and begin my features analysis. Verse Extraction is essential when studying someone else’s flow, because the verse is the place where he is showcasing all the technique he knows. Its the place where he reveals his rhymes and musical patterns and everything. The truth is that if you know what to look for, you can truly master someone else’s style. Now the verse:

    (First Quatrain)
His palms are sweaty, knees weak arms are heavy There’s vomit
on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti He’s nervous,
but on the surface he looks calm and ready to drop
bombs, but he keeps on forgetting what he

    (Second Quatrain)
wrote down the whole crowd goes so loud He
opens his mouth but the words won’t come out,
He’s choking how, everybody’s joking now,
The clock’s run out, time’s up, over bloah !Snap

    (Third Quatrain)
back to reality Oh, there goes gravity
Oh, there goes Rabbit he choked, He’s so mad but he
won’t, give up that Easy no, He won’t have it
he knows, his whole back’s to these ropes, It don’t matter

    (Last Quatrain)
he’s dope, He knows that but he’s broke, He’s so stagnant
he knows When he goes back to his mobile home that’s when it’s,
Back to the lab again yo, This whole rhapsody
He better go capture this moment and hope it don’t pass him

    FEATURES ANALYSIS
Right from the start you can see the level of complexity used in this song.

    IN THE FIRST QUATRAIN:
His palms are sweaty, knees weak arms are heavy There’s vomit
on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti He’s nervous,
but on the surface he looks calm and ready to drop
bombs, but he keeps on forgetting what he

He employs the wordplay technique, combined with the Big L technique for compound rhymes.
Palms are sweaty acts as the main compound rhyme. You can see that throughout this quatrain he is just adding new rhyme words to this rhyme. For example: Arms are heavy, sweater already, calm and ready, on forgetting.

Now in order for him to make it interesting, he squeezes in other compound rhymes, which act as the secondary rhymes, bring there to just increase the intricacy of the flow. That’s the flow diagram of this quatrain.

    *
12-palms are sweaty, arms are heavy, sweater already, mom’s spaghetti, calm and ready, on forgetting
    33-knees weak
    4-nervious, surface

    FIRST QUATRAIN RHYMING PATTERN
    12, 3312
    12,12 4,
    4 12
    ,12

    IN THE SECOND QUATRAIN:
wrote down the whole crowd goes so loud He
opens his mouth but the words won’t come out,
He’s choking how, everybody’s joking now,
The clock’s run out, time’s up, over bloah !Snap

Here you can see that the primary compound rhyme is wrote down. The whole quatrain is based upon this compound rhyme. Even though in the end, he is twisting the rhyme a bit, making it more of a sound rhyme, he is still using only one main compound rhyme for the creating of this quatrain.

    *
12-wrote down, whole crowd, goes so loud, open his mouth, come out, choking how, joking now, run out, over bloah

    SECOND QUATRAIN RHYMING PATTERN
    12 12 12
    12 12
    12, 12
    12, ,12

Further Reading: Why Was It Successful(Eminem-My Name Is)

    IN THE THIRD QUATRAIN:
back to reality Oh, there goes gravity
Oh, there goes Rabbit he choked, He’s so mad but he
won’t, give up that Easy no, He won’t have it
he knows, his whole back’s to these ropes, It don’t matter

That’s a musical pattern. Now it’s a bit more complicated so follow me. You can see that the main compound rhyme is reality Oh. However, the way he says the rhyme makes it a musical pattern, because he puts more stress on the OH. Its really easy once you try it yourself. Its pretty much a repetition of a sound. Did I miss something? Yes..His main rhyme is not 2 words long, its 3!. That’s incredibly difficult to do technically and when you add the meaning of the lyrics, its pretty genius.
    *
23-reality Oh, gravity Oh, rabbit he choked, he wont, easy no, he knows, these ropes
    1-back, mad, that, have, back,
    4-goes, goes, whole

    THIRD QUATRAIN RHYMING PATTERN
    123, 42
    3, 423,12
    3, 123, 12
    3, 4123

    IN THE LAST QUATRAIN:
he’s dope, He knows that but he’s broke, He’s so stagnant
he knows When he goes back to his mobile home that’s when it’s,
Back to the lab again yo, This whole rhapsody
He better go capture this moment and hope it don’t pass him

You can see that he keeps on using the rhyme scheme from the third quatrain in the beginning-first couplet.
He then finishes off with a little sound scheme lasting two bars.
    *
    23-he’s dope, he’s broke,
    4-knows,knows, goes, mobile, home,yo,whole,moment hope
    1-stagnant,back, lap,capture, pass

    LAST QUATRAIN RHYMING PATTERN
    23, 423, 1

Undoubtedly the best rapper of all time. He has worked so hard to get to where he is, he rose up from having nothing to everything. No one believed in him and he had no support whatsoever but he never gave up his dream, his life. No one sounds like him, he's so unique. Despite not doing great at school he was very good at English and I think I heard something about him reading the entire dictionary just because he thought it would be nice to have a wide vocabulary. He is so smart with his lyrics. So many rappers nowadays have a good beat but the lyrics are awful, they rap about the same old things that just gives rappers a bad reputation. Eminem raps about real life and yeah, some of his stuff can be offensive but I like to see it as telling a story from a different approach. Yeah, he uses bad language, who doesn't? The difference is he has the guts to publish it. All his music is good, loads of people didn't like Recovery, yeah, it was different but he's entitled to a change, he was still brilliant. Same good beat, same attitude but to be honest, better, more heart-felt lyrics. He is my favourite artist ever and he is one of the most inspirational people ever. Yeah, you've heard 'Love the Way You Lie' and 'Not Afraid' but all fans will agree with me when I say, there's a h--- of a lot more to him than just that. He's astonishing.

Eminem came from literally ROCK BOTTOM, it got to a point where he couldn't even even pay for his daughters diaper's, had several different jobs through out each day and STILL managed to think of rhymes and come up with some of the best songs ever recorded. When he was invited to go to the Rap Olympics he couldn't even afford the plane ticket there, Wendy Day (the creator of Rap Olympics) had to pay for his ticket just so he could get to L. A and battle, it was a make or break situation for him, he had no heating in his house, the night before going to the contest he was evicted and had to sleep on the floor in the cold. I think its crazy how he traveled that far not even guaranteed to win the prize money, he said himself he needed to win that money JUST so his family could survive for another couple of weeks and then going through a life of being frequently bullied, getting hit by an block of ice thrown from a school bully and being put in a coma for 6 weeks, the doctor said its likely he'll come put with permanent bran damage but he didn't, he over come it, then he lost his bestfriend/uncle THEN got told by his own mom that she wished he was dead and not ronnie, even after all this he lost his long time friend PROOF who he'd been best friends with for 16 years. I don't know how he got through his life without braking down and saying f it. AND he's still around now at 38 years of age slayin rappers left right and centre. PAC and BIG were great no doubt and ya'll are gone hate me for saying this but pac and big wouldn't be respected as much as they are now IF THEY didn't DIE, I respect them both fully and no doubt they were great, certainly Pac, but skill wise I don't care what y'all say Eminem was better, his legacy in my eyes is better. He is the BEAST and the GOAT.
